Why We Do This Differently
Idaho Falls has a genuinely predictable rodent problem. Our Process
- Inspection. We check the full property foundation, attic, crawlspace, garage, and any outbuildings to identify exactly where rodents are getting in and how established the population is. This step matters more in Idaho Falls than it might elsewhere, given the area’s older housing stock and decades of freeze-thaw-related structural wear.
- Removal. We trap and remove the current population, using methods matched to the species and severity of the infestation. A light house mouse problem and an established Norway rat population require different approaches, and we treat them accordingly.
- Exclusion. We seal every identified entry point using materials rodents can’t chew through: steel wool, copper mesh, and metal flashing, not foam alone, which mice and rats gnaw through without much difficulty. - Follow-Up. We confirm the exclusion is holding and walk you through what specifically attracted rodents to your property, so you know what to watch for going forward not just that the current problem is resolved.
